I think hiring a contractor to take care of your rehab investment property is a great idea if you’re making some major repairs or renovations. And, if you find a great contractor you need to treat him well.
But, if you’re just making some cosmetic changes, I think they’re easy enough to do yourself.
Getting a profesional in saves time and the job gets done. If you are not handy and you lay crooked tiles or plaster the ceiling bad, eerrrr shudder, the property value will go down because it looks shoddy.
