I think that having your own home and being able to do what you want with it is one of the big attractions for buying a property. Besides it’s the Australian dream.
Seriously, it’s about using your money wisely and building an asset for the future.
Purchasing rather than renting also allows you the benefit of capital growth, almost like a bonus savings plan. When you rent the property owner has this benefit.
