Of these ten locations four are located in Queensland, three are located in Victoria, two are located in New South Wales and one is in South Australia. Some of the best bargains that can be found are in Cunnamulla in Queensland. An important thing to keep in mind is that the closer you are to the city the more money you can expect to pay for real estate, while when you are further away from the city you can expect to pay less for a home.

    The cheapest places to buy in Australia may be found by living outside of the major cities. I guess you just have to assess what is best for you and your family. Also, you need to think about what your goals are.

    I think there are a lot of things to consider beyond price.

    I am not exactly sure where Cunnamulla is. I like living in the country so the city is of little interest to me except from a real estate investment point of view. I am sure the competition will be a lot less fierce in Cunnamulla as opposed to, say, the Gold Coast :)
