  • Mount Barker – just 40km from Adelaide, Mount Barker is a beautiful area that provides its residents with easy commutability to the capital. This area has experienced a lot of growth in the past and is expected to continue to grow in the coming year. Mount Barker provides an affordable area to live and offers its residents many amenities such as shopping, cinemas, and restaurants. The average median home price in Mount Barker is $343,000.
  • Ballina – located on the mouth of the Richmond River this suburb is becoming a great alternative location to nearby areas such as Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. Ballina is more affordable than its counterparts and offers residents newer roads to Brisbane which is 205 km to the north. Ballina is a great location for people who like to fish, surf, or just enjoy the water. The average median home price is $422,500, which is significantly cheaper than other suburbs in the same area.
  • Hayborough – this are is the most affordable suburb in the Victor Harbor Local Government Area of South Australia. Victor Harbor is a very popular vacation and holiday spot and offers many local attractions as well as amazing beaches for surfing and enjoying the sun. The average median home price in Hayborough is only $299,00.
  • Thuringowa Central – this lovely suburb is located within the newly created Townville City in the Thurington Local Government Area. Located on the Ross River, Thuringowa is only 12 km from Townsville and has many large businesses and commercial buildings. There is also a substantial amount of unrenovated properties that offer great renovation potential to investors. The average median price for homes in Thuringowa Central is $342,00 which is substantially cheaper than nearby Townsville.
