This is great advice. I think a mentor’s job is to help me honestly assess my strengths and weaknesses. I need to know what areas I need to work on if I’m to succeed.
I don’t need a mentor to be my friend. I just need a mentor who’ll help me be successful.
Learning from others is a great way to shortrack to your own success. Modelling of a mentor will show you strategies that work. I also like the point you made of getting invited to functions that you wouldn’t normally be able to attend. You will be able to make more contacts of others that are involved in the real estate game.
