It’s a great real estate investment tip to go with something more “conventional” as investment compared to the exotic, expensive beach front Villa. That might be a nice and prestigious object, but to start of with investing I agree that you should put your money into something that attracts a broader market for renting as well as for buying.

Hi Sean,

These are very sound tips. I think the only time to invest in ocean front villas is when the economy is struggling and they’re going for a song. But, it’s a great investment to have at some point.

I like your suggestion of investing in the lower third of the market. But, I think it still comes down to making the figures work.
